Clyde Boyer – President & Senior Consultant
Clyde Boyer has more than 30 years leadership experience as a dry utility consultant. This includes all aspects of development and coordination of master planned communities, residential and commercial developments, special assessment and public facilities districts. Most recently, he was the Senior Project Manager at the Moote Group, specializing in dry utility consulting.
His primary responsibilities were to train and organize staff while managing major residential master plan communities, along with commercial and retail sites throughout Southern California.
Clyde’s strengths are customer service and keeping current on the changing regulations and requirements of utility companies. He has overseen numerous projects in California, Arizona and Nevada providing dry utility Consulting and coordination with a heavy emphasis on utility research, field investigation and cost estimating.
Clyde attended the University of Alaska Anchorage, majoring in Natural Science and is now pursuing his entrepreneurial dreams. He spends a great deal of his spare time with his three children.
Michael Boyer – Director of Operations & Finance
Michael has had his hands in operations and finance for the past 20 years as an entrepreneur, finance leader, and operating officer. He began to blaze a trail in areas as wide-ranging as internet advertising, online retirement plan management and software globalization.
Michael has been working in technology, web content management and online marketing for over 20 years, focusing on implementation, creation and product management.
Michael currenty serves as Director and Chief Operating Officer of Digital West, Inc. wher ehe leads th edaya to tday business operations. He served as the CEO of AdSmart, Inc., a digital advertising platform for the franchise industry, as well as the COO of ElementsLocal, Inc. which was acquired by Bridgeline Digital, Inc. in August of 2013. Michael has worked with many franchise companies, including UPS Stores, Sport Clips, Inc., Paul Davis, Jiffy Lube, Maaco, Glass Doctor, Floor Coverings International, Weed Man and Home Helpers.
As a self-described “jack of all trades,” Michael loves getting his hands dirty in many different things, from home remodeling projects to jogging/walking a “half” with his wife, to Saturday morning business discussions with friends, to adventurous hikes in Alaska’s Talkeetna Mountains. Michael lives in Arroyo Grande, CA with his wife and son.
Ryan Hislop – Project Manager CAD Designer
Ryan Hislop has over 13 years of experience in drafting and design, 9 of which were spent working directly with high voltage electric distribution designs. He has managed and overseen the design aspects of a wide variety of master-planned communities in the Southern California area. Strong communication skills and the ability to implement new design methods have allowed him to see projects to completion in a timely manner.
After the recent market crash of 2008, Ryan saw the event as an opportunity to travel abroad and study other languages and cultures. He spent several years learning Mandarin at Shida University in Taiwan, and is now a fluent speaker of the Chinese language. Prior to this experience, he worked as design project leader and manager at Power Plus! Consulting & Design, heading up Southern California Edison applicant design, ATT/Verizon telephone and competitive access design, and various other dry utility design needs.
As a dedicated team player with a strong work ethic, he believes that any challenge can be successfully dealt with using the right management tools and effective communication. He values highly every relationship and friendship built along the way, and thus strives to create a positive environment that is both enjoyable and exciting for those whom he is working with.
